Iris Yang is a New York-based composer and vocalist writing for film, orchestra, and theater. She graduated from Yale University in 2025 with a degree in Computing and the Arts.

During her undergrad, she won The American Prize in Composition for her orchestral work Sunrise in Giverny, and her piece Katabasis was selected to be read by the Yale Symphony Orchestra. She also toured internationally with the Whiffenpoofs, the world's oldest collegiate a cappella group.

More recently, she scored Studio Heartbreak's animated short The Lovers, which premiered at the 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival and was officially selected for Fantasia Festival and HollyShorts.
